Hello, I am Wonjong.
I recenty completed my Ph.D. in Quantitative Economics at the University of Alabama and will soon begin working at the National Institute of Green Technology. I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in urban economics, real estate economics, and environmental economics. My research examines how environmental factors influence residential real estate markets, household decision-making, and broader urban outcomes.
Before pursuing my Ph.D., I received my M.A. and B.A. in Economics from Myongji University in South Korea. I also worked as a researcher in the Center for Information and Statistics Research at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, where I gained experience in data analysis and policy-oriented research.
Outside of research, I enjoy exploring new features in computer programs, especially those related to data collection, data visualization, and photo/video editing.
