About me
Hello, I am Wonjong.
I am an Economics PhD job market candidate in the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies at the University of Alabama. As an applied microeconomist, I focus on areas of urban economics, real estate economics, and environmental economics. My research examines the impact of environmental factors on residential real estate and various urban problems.
I have a MA and BA in Economics from Myong-ji University (South Korea). Prior to my Ph.D, I was a Researcher in the Information and Statistical Research Department at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs.
In my spare time I like to explore new features in computer programs: data collection and visualization, photo/video editing.
